At First Loved Ministries, we believe that experiencing and enjoying being deeply loved by God is not just possible; it is essential to transforming the way we live and relate to one another.
That is why we created the Loving the Jesus Way training series, to help people learn how to remain in God’s love and to love others from that secure place.
The second half of this series, Getting Along, is designed to answer the question, “What do I do when I am not being loved?” (Or have not been so loving?) It offers people practical tools for remaining in God’s love in the real world, especially when pain, anger, or fear threaten to destroy us and our most important relationships.
We are asking you to help us reach our goal of making the Getting Along module fully accessible and ready to experience, enjoy, and share in 2026!
Why Getting Along?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the instant we became a Christian, we were only ever loving one another well? Sadly, we have all experienced the pain of not being loved well. This causes fear, anger, and sadness that undermine our ability to enjoy and share God's love consistently in our most important relationships.
How does Getting Along help us remain in God's love even in unloving circumstances?
- It offers a comprehensive Restoration Process
- It includes tools, activities, and clear steps forward
- It teaches you how to Apologize well when you are wrong
- It gives you the resources to Forgive well when you have been wronged

We have spent the last few years updating and clarifying decades-old curriculum to develop our new and improved Getting Along module. During this time, we've worked closely with several touchpoint groups to test and refine this resource, and the outcome of this experience has been ooooohhhh sooo good!
Every bit of feedback points to the incredible difference Getting Along will make once it is fully complete. This resource will help individuals, families, and communities experience the love of Jesus in deeper ways, communicate with greater understanding, and move toward healing and connection in places that have long needed it.
