Every human being was created to be loved and to love as and because we have been loved first. This is how Jesus lived and loved when he was on Earth. Love is meant to be experienced, enjoyed, and shared for our joy, others' good, and God's glory.
Loving as Loved helps you experience being loved by God through words and actions by teaching you multiple activities that you can engage in daily.

If only our lives were just being loved and loving as loved! Sadly, all of us have been harmed, and have done harm.
Getting Along helps you remain in God's love by teaching you the tools and skills to forgive well when you have been wronged, and to apologize well when you have done wrong. Forgiving and apologizing to one another is how we love the Jesus way while we are being transformed throughout the course of our lives.

The training Jesus offered is best described as an Apprenticeship. Learning how to love the Jesus way involved modeling, and asking questions, and peer processing, and practice, and messing up, and getting help, and trying again, and ultimately transformation.
The FLM Apprenticeship Cohort will help you learn how to love as loved and get along so that you can be "imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and walk in the way of love just like Christ, who loved us." (Ephesians 5:1-2)

In your time alone with the Lord, you can watch the teaching videos, try the activities, process and pray on your own time table. Spend as much time as you want on each lesson before moving on to the next, and go back to review as often as you like. Building up 11,000 hours of being loved takes time and with this track you get all the time you need.
Loving one another as and because we have been loved first, requires us to engage with one another! Loving as Loved Touchpoint Group Track equips you to engage more deeply with the content in a group setting. This version also includes access to the teaching videos and but now, you’ll be processing these truths with session outlines and activities designed for community—making space for shared discovery, support, and growth. Whether you're leading a group or journeying alongside others, this course helps you take the love you’ve received and bring it into your relationships and rhythms of life.
If only we were always just loved and loving... Sadly, sometimes we wrong and harm others or they wrong and harm us. Meaning we are not being loved well or not loving others very well. This often causes us to either hide in fear or retaliate in pain and anger.
How do we stop this relational madness? Our second module, “Getting Along”, offers accessible activities that will help you prepare for and engage in healing conversations, apologize and forgive well, and experience healing and freedom from painful memories.
Set your own pace in the independent devotional track for Getting Along. In your time alone with the Lord, you’ll watch teaching videos, work through practical activities, and reflect on the five essential parts to this Restoration Process—Stop, Look, Listen, Love, and Change. The sessions guide you through preparing your heart for healing conversations, learning how to apologize well when you’ve wronged someone, and how to forgive deeply and fully when you’ve been wronged. Plus, you’ll gain exclusive access to our community forum for connection, questions, and encouragement every step of the way. Take all the time you need on each session, revisit any step as often as you like, and let God’s love reshape your relationships from the inside out.
Getting Along is ultimately meant to be used in community. The Restoration Process helps us restore trust when we have done wrong and caused harm, and it is most effective and transformative when all parties are using the same framework and process. The Touchpoint Group Track still includes the teaching videos, and unique group guides for each session to be engaged with together, over time, as you all learn to Stop, Look, Listen, Love, and Change. Built on the truths and activities you learned in Loving as Loved, you will now learn how to remain in God's love while navigating challenging conversations and conflicts.
Building on both our foundational Loving as Loved and Getting Along modules, the FLM Apprenticeship Cohort immerses you in an authentic, hands-on discipleship journey unlike any other. You’ll dive deeper than ever before—joining a weekly Touchpoint Group of fellow apprentices to practice compassionate love, healing conversations, and forgiveness in real life. Alongside that, you’ll receive one-on-one mentoring for personalized coaching, deeper discussion, and prayer support. You’ll also gain exclusive access to your own cohort-only community forum, where you can connect any time for encouragement, resource-sharing, and collective growth. This rich blend of teaching, modeling, peer processing, and individualized care mirrors the way Jesus trained his apprentices—so you can truly become “imitators of God, as dearly loved children, walking in the way of love just as Christ loved us” (Ephesians 5:1-2).

"First Loved Ministries (FLM) has had a profound and foundational impact on me, my family, and my community for two decades. Because of the simplicity of the "Loving as Loved" and "Getting Along" teachings and practices, and having it rooted so strongly in God's word, I've been able to incorporate it across my personal walk, marriage, work, and pretty much any organization I've been involved with. I previously struggled to understand the Bible and God's love, but it is so much easier for me now to be loved and love others. For example, at work, I routinely face difficult projects and team challenges, and they are made so much more simpler by applying fundamental FLM biblically-based principles. And my colleagues rave about what a great work environment we have. I give credit to God and FLM."
